During the regular Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee meeting on May 21 at Marmarin Palace, various investment plans were discussed.
This included the private sector’s construction of a commercial center at Naibabad Station, Hairataan Port, and a commercial market in Jalalabad city, among other sector projects. The committee extensively deliberated on developing the commercial center and establishing a logistics hub at Naibabad Station.
Following thorough discussion, the proposal to build a six-story commercial market in the Wach Dand area of Jalalabad city was approved and forwarded to the Economic Commission for final approval.
This project entails a private sector investment of 269 million Afghanis to construct a seven-story commercial market with a total of 506 shops.
