During a recent three-day visit to Afghanistan, Li Chen, the Vice-Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, visited various historical sites and ancient monuments.
At a meeting held in Babar Garden, Li Chen announced that China is prepared to support Afghanistan in the protection and restoration of its cultural heritage.
Mr. Li emphasized Afghanistan’s rich history and cultural significance and stated that Afghanistan would be included as a member of the #Asian Cultural Heritage Preservation Organization (APAHA) to better preserve its heritage.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Art Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi and Deputy Minister of Tourism Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal welcomed Li Chen’s visit, praising it as highly beneficial.
They expressed optimism that such visits would foster cooperation and cultural exchange between the two nations, enhancing their relationship.
