Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid formally introduced as the new Deputy Minister for Drugs and Food at the Ministry of Public Health during a dedicated ceremony

The event was attended by senior officials, including Shaikh-ul-Hadith Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of the Administrative Office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan; Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali; and deputy ministers, directors, and representatives from various departments.

In his address, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Noorul Haq Anwar emphasized that the principles of reassignment and obedience to orders are integral to the system. He announced that, pursuant to a decree issued by the esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah protect him), Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid has been appointed as the new Deputy Minister for Drugs and Food at the Ministry of Public Health and will now be responsible for leading the department’s operations.

The Director General extended his well wishes to both Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid and Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the outgoing Deputy Minister for Drugs and Food, expressing hope that they will continue to serve the public effectively in their new roles. He also prayed for their success in fulfilling their duties.

Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali also spoke at the event, highlighting the presence of an Islamic governance system in the country and stressing that all officials are committed to following the directives of the Amir. He reiterated that Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid’s appointment is in line with the Amir’s decree and aims to enhance the ministry’s effectiveness. He concluded by wishing the new deputy minister continued success in his efforts to serve the nation.

In his remarks, Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid shared his vision and outlined his work plans. He reaffirmed his commitment to adhering to the Amir’s commands and ensuring that his work aligns with the principles and regulations of the Islamic system, with a focus on serving the citizens of Afghanistan.
