At the Conference on Afghanistan Electricity Investment Opportunities, significant MoUs were signed to bolster the country’s energy production. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed for a 100-megawatt solar power project between Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, and representatives from Zularistan Company and Ghazanfar Group.
Additionally, another MoU was signed with Zwak Power Private Company for a 100-megawatt thermal power generation project utilizing coal, both to be implemented in the Sarubi district of Kabul. These initiatives aim to address the urgent electricity shortages in the region.
Furthermore, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat partnered with Kabul National Company to produce 40 megawatts of electricity near Kabul’s industrial parks. An additional MoU was signed between the Afghanistan Renewable Energy Union and Azizi Bank to support these efforts.
Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat is actively pursuing a systematic plan to meet the nation’s electricity demands and resolve current challenges.
