According to reports, Israeli forces commenced ground operations in southern Lebanon this morning (Tuesday, October 1st), coinciding with ongoing airstrikes across various regions of the country.
The Israeli military targeted multiple locations in the southern suburbs of Beirut and issued evacuation orders to local residents.
Recently, an aerial attack on a residence in the city of Dawoodiya resulted in the cof at least 10 individuals, with 5 others sustaining injuries.
Additionally, Israeli forces launched an assault on the Palestinian refugee camp ‘Ain al-Hilwa’ near the city of Saida in southern Lebanon.
This attack led to the martyrs of 5 individuals, numerous injuries, significant destruction of buildings, and many people trapped under the rubble.
Ain al-Hilwa is the most densely populated Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, housing over 130,000 Palestinians.
Simultaneously, Israeli airstrikes were reported in the Syrian capital of Damascus, resulting in the martyrs of three individuals.
According to Syrian state media, 9 others were injured in this incident.
The state television also confirmed that one of its journalists lost her life during the Israeli operations in Damascus.
