In recent hours, at least 77 Palestinians have been reported martyred and many others injured due to Israeli attacks across various regions of the Gaza Strip, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The agency stated, “Dozens of Palestinian civilians, including children and women, were martyred and many others wounded in ongoing airstrikes, shelling, and naval bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces targeting multiple areas of the enclave.” Medical sources confirmed the martyrs of 77 civilians and numerous injuries resulting from what they described as ongoing Israeli aggression.
Among the casualties, at least 12 Palestinians were martyred when Israeli warplanes struck a residential building near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City. Additionally, several civilians sustained injuries from an airstrike that hit Al-Noor Mosque in the Al-Sabra neighborhood.
Israeli military actions also targeted various locations in the northern Gaza Strip, including the town of Jabalia and its refugee camp.
In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, Israeli forces targeted a house belonging to the al-Kadhmi family, resulting in the martyrs of eight Palestinians.
The vicinity of Nasser Medical Hospital was also raided by Israeli forces, while artillery shelled areas surrounding the Al-Amal Hospital, operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
Airstrikes were reported in Deir al-Belah, located in central Gaza.
Since October 7 of last year, the Israeli army has been conducting extensive military operations in Gaza, leading to a reported 42,620 martyrs and 96,600 injuries, as well as displacing over 85% of the population in the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian authorities and the United Nations.
