Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Tuesday, 1446/5/3, which coincides with 1403/8/15, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided necessary services in different areas.

The Full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Torkham, 21 families have returned to the country and 120 members of these families have been registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

23 families from Torkham, whose members were 106, have been safely transported to Kabul and Nangarhar provinces, and (124,000 Afghanis) rent has been given to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (226,000 Afghanis) is given to 27 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp:

Food: 130 meals and water are distributed in Torkham.

Health: 165 returned refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 84-digit SIM cards, with free minutes and internet packages activated, have been distributed to the returned migrants.

In Torkham, some clothes such as mattresses and other things have been distributed to the refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Spin Boldak, 8 families, whose number of members was 49, returned to the country and were registered.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (70,000 Afghanis) is given to 8 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

52 families with the number of members 205 have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 1741 travelers have returned to the country.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (34,000) Afghanis has been given to 47 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 52 families have been settled in Nimroz temporary camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communication: 52-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees by the officials of communication and information technology for free, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

116 families with 446 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (808,000 Afghanis) has been given to 111 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 96 families have been settled in Islam Qala camp.

Kabul

Transportation committee

From Kabul, 16 families with a total of 78 members have been safely transported to Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Khost, Sarpul and Faryab. is given

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (197) families and (820) individuals

Transported refugees: (39) families and (184) individuals

Assisted migrants: (193) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (148) families

Shared SIM Cards: (136) Digits
