Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Thursday, 1446/7/8, corresponding to 1403/10/20, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

16 families returned to the country through Torkham and 75 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportation committee

6 families with 36 members from Torkham were safely transported to Nangarhar and Kabul, and (27,000) Afghanis were also paid as a fare to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (132,000) Afghanis have been provided to 16 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in the Torkham Omari Camp:

Food: 90 meals and water have been distributed in Torkham.

Health: 220 returning refugees have been treated in Torkham.

Communications: 55 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

19 families with 93 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (164,000) Afghanis have been provided to 19 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 316 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 49 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Telecommunications: The Telecommunications Services Authority has distributed 64 free SIM cards to the returned refugees, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province, 31 families with 140 members have returned to the country and registered, and (1219) travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (210,000) Afghanis have been provided to 29 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 31 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

42 families with 168 members returned to the country through Islam Qala and registered them.

Financial management Committee

A total of (304,000) Afghanis have been provided to 41 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportation committee

5 families with 22 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Kunduz and Balkh, and (19,200) Afghanis have also been paid as rent.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (108) families and (476) individuals

Transferred refugees: (11) families and (58) individuals

Helped refugees: (105) families

Distributed SIM cards: (150) numbers
