The death toll from the losangeles wildfires rose to 24 on Sunday, with 16 victims found in the Eaton fire zone and eight in the Palisades area. Another 16 people remain missing, according to officials.

The Palisades fire, the largest, has burned over 23,000 acres and is 13% contained.
The Eaton fire, at 14,000 acres, is 27% contained, while the Hurst fire, covering 799 acres, and is nearly fully contained.
Forecasters warn that powerful Santa Ana winds, expected to reach up to 60 mph from Sunday to Wednesday, could worsen conditions.
The wildfires, among the costliest in U.S. history, have caused estimated damages of $250–$275 billion, according to Accuweather.
