Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, met with representatives of employment and tourism companies to prevent both the legal sending of Afghan workers abroad and the illegal transfer of labor through tourist visas.
The Minister urged tourism companies not to issue work visas to Afghan workers under the guise of tourism, ensuring that employment opportunities are provided legally and in accordance with established standards.
He further stated that a systematic mechanism will be established in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Culture to regulate Afghan labor migration, preventing individuals from traveling abroad for work using tourist visas.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in coordination with the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Public Health, and the National Statistics and Information Authority, holds the primary responsibility for the legal deployment of Afghan workers abroad and addressing their concerns.
