The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has initiated 68 development projects in the Tagab district of Kapisa province, with an estimated cost of approximately 120 million Afghanis.
These projects were officially launched today during a meeting led by the Acting Minister of the Ministry, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada.
The meeting for the commencement of these projects was attended by the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, his delegation, the Governor of Kapisa province, Alhaj Qari Briyal, the Director of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Kapisa, Mufti Syed Abrar Muhammadi, as well as several other local officials, religious scholars, elders, and youth from the district.
During the meeting, the Minister assured the people of the area that their challenges would be addressed. He also emphasized that, based on available resources, they would implement essential development projects in the remote areas of the country, specifically those projects required by the local community.
The projects include the construction of rural roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and canals.
During the execution of these projects, hundreds of workers will be provided with employment opportunities, and upon completion, these projects will help address the challenges faced by the residents of the district to a certain extent.
