Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 10/22/1446, corresponding to 1/31/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.


The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

190 families returned to the country through Torkham and 990 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

297 families with a total of 1533 members have been safely transported from Torkham to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (713,800) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (2824,000) Afghanis have been provided to 343 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:
Communications: 899 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

192 families with 1008 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportations committee

160 families with 894 members have been safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Paktika, Farah, Ghazni and Kabul, and (650,800) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1560,000 Afghanis has been provided to 188 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:
Food: 1540 food and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.
Health: 467 returning refugees were treated in Spin Boldak.
Communications: 571 SIM cards were distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Administration, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

In the past five days, 439 families with 1902 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroze province and registered, and 5688 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (3238,000) Afghanis have been provided to 426 families by the Financial management Committee in the past five days.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following various services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:
Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 439 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 53 families with 182 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (338,000) Afghanis have been provided to 50 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

135 families with 751 members have been safely transported from Kabul to Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Baghlan, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Kunduz, and (406,400) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (874) families and (4082) individuals
Transferred refugees: (592) families and (3178) individuals
Assisted refugees: (1007) families
Distributed SIM cards: (1909) units
