Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 10/29/1446, corresponding to 2/7/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

253 families returned to the country through Torkham and 1000 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

256 families with 1466 members have been safely transported from Torkham to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul and (827,000) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (2930,000 Afghanis) has been provided to 361 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 294 families have been temporarily settled in the Torkham Omari camp.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 856 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

189 families with a total of 1300 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportations committee

148 families with a total of 867 members have been safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Herat, Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni and Kabul, and (730,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1594,000) Afghanis have been provided to 190 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

214 families have been temporarily settled in Spin Boldak.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 939 food items and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 358 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 277 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, which includes free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

64 families with 270 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1595 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (438,000) Afghanis have been provided to 61 families by the Financial management Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

64 families have been settled in the temporary camp in Nimroz.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 64 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Helmand

Bahramcha

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

19 families with 116 members returned to the country through Bahramcha.

These families have been transferred to their areas and have also been provided with cash assistance.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 58 families with 201 members have been returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (386,000) Afghanis have been provided to 58 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

57 families with 309 members have been safely transferred from Kabul to Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Baghlan, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Kunduz, and (201,150) Afghanis have also been provided to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (583) families and (2887) individuals

Transferred refugees: (461) families and (2642) individuals

Assisted refugees: (670) families

Temporarily settled refugees: (603) families

SIM cards distributed: (1197) units
