Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the High Commission for Addressing Migrants’ Issues, arrived in Herat province at the head of a high-level delegation to assess the condition of returning Afghan nationals.
The delegation aims to closely assess the ongoing process of forced repatriation of Afghan migrants from the Islamic Republic of Iran and take immediate measures to provide essential services and address their challenges.
Members of the delegation include Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani, Minister of Urban Development and Housing; Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society; Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Rashid, Deputy Minister of Refugees and Repatriation; and Mawlawi Sadr Azam Usmani, Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
