Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Tuesday, 16/3/1447, corresponding to 18/6/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

605 families with 3669 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (4436,000) Afghanis were provided to 573 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

124 families with 610 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 978 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transportatios committee

17 families with 95 members from Nimroze have been safely transported to Herat, Farah and Kabul, and (105,000) rent has been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (994,000) Afghanis have been provided to 116 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 740 migrants returning from the Silk Road were treated.

Communications: 124 SIM cards were distributed to the migrants on the Abrishom way.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

238 families with 1422 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transporations committee

176 families with 1012 members have been safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Herat and Kabul, and (1050,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1998,000) Afghanis have been provided to 232 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 2346 food parcels, bread and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 170 SIM cards were distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Authority, which included free minutes and internet packages.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1300 families returned to the country through Torkham and 7854 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

1000 families with 5485 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (2504300) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (25402000) Afghanis have been provided to 3040 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 1026 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Helmand

Bahramcha (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

26 families with 99 members have returned to the country and registered through Bahramcha.

Transporations committee

26 families with 99 members from Bahramcha, Helmand have been safely transported to Lashkar Gah and Garmsir, and these families have also been paid (148,000) Afghanis as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (138,000) Afghanis has been provided to 19 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

1068 families with 5609 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Kunduz, Baghlan, Balkh, Paktia, Paktika, Sar-e-Pul, Jawzjan, Faryab, Parwan, Samangan, Kapisa, Nangarhar, Takhar, Ghazni, Badakhshan and Khost, and (4066010) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (2293) families and (13654) individuals

Refugees transferred: (2287) families and (12300) individuals

Refugees assisted: (3980) families

SIM cards distributed: (1320)
