The Ministry of Borders, Tribes, and Ethnicities held a major meeting in Badakhshan province, chaired by Mawlawi Mohammad Ali Jan Ahmad, Deputy Minister, under the theme “National Unity, the Survival of the Islamic Order, and the Welfare of the People.”
At the meeting, the Deputy for Loya Jirgas and Tribal Coordination stated that the purpose of the gathering was to address the people’s problems and identify solutions.
Meanwhile, tribal elders urged officials to pay serious attention to the issues facing the people in the Pamir region, adding that official attention to the Pamir, the “Roof of the World,” is tantamount to opening an economic gateway.
