Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, stated that while the Islamic Emirate reserves the right to respond to any encroachment or violation of its territory by the Pakistani military, the Mujahedeen must refrain from new movements to preserve the status and respect of the negotiating team.
He added that a high-level delegation of the Islamic Emirate, led by Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, Minister of National Defense, departed for Doha this morning to participate in talks with Pakistan.
Mawlawi Mujahid also reported that last night, the Pakistani military carried out airstrikes on civilian areas in Arghun district of Paktika, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several civilians.
The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns these repeated crimes and violations of Afghanistan’s territory, calling them provocative acts intended to prolong the conflict.
Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid emphasized that Afghanistan remains committed to a peaceful resolution, but all current actions demonstrate aggression from the Pakistani side.
