The Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Doha, Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, announced that the recent meeting between Afghanistan and Pakistan, mediated by Qatar and Turkey, concluded successfully with a ceasefire agreement.
Mr. Shaheen stated that both sides agreed that Pakistan will not support anti-Islamic Emirate elements or carry out attacks, nor will it target civilians or violate Afghanistan’s territorial integrity. Likewise, Afghanistan committed to refrain from supporting attacks or opponents within Pakistan.
Expressing gratitude to Qatar and Turkey for their mediation, the Ambassador confirmed that the next round of talks will be held in Turkey soon.
