The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, described the initiation of pomegranate exports from Afghanistan to Russia as a significant economic milestone.
Mujahid noted that this development opens a major new market for Afghan fruits, particularly pomegranates, and represents progress in the country’s export sector.
For the first time, 25 tons of pomegranates from Kandahar province were exported to Russia, with plans to increase this volume to 250 tons by the end of the year.
