Unidentified gunmen have killed Burhan, also known as Zaid, a senior commander of ISIS-Khorasan, in Akhtarabad in Pakistan’s Punjab province. He was regarded as one of the group’s key figures and was involved in several destructive activities in eastern Afghanistan.
It is worth noting that another senior ISIS member was recently killed in Peshawar.
