The Afghan Ambassador to Qatar, Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, held separate meetings with the British Special Representative for Afghanistan, Richard Lindsay, and the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Vanessa Fraser.
According to the embassy, the discussions focused on bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the United Kingdom, consular services for Afghans living in the UK, Afghanistan’s engagement with the international community, and UN-related issues.
The political situation, humanitarian assistance, child protection, education, and several other important matters were also discussed.
The embassy added that both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening positive relations and continuing humanitarian and political cooperation.
