Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, Minister of Water and Energy, met with a delegation of Iranian companies to discuss water projects in Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Iranian delegation expressed their readiness to invest in the water transfer project from Panjshir province to Kabul.
The statement added that Mr. Mansoor advised the delegation to coordinate with the ministry’s technical team to prepare the framework for signing a memorandum of understanding, after which the project work will proceed.
