Officials from the Herat Department of Information and Culture have announced the completion of reconstruction work at the Herat Grand Mosque Park, which is expected to be opened to the public soon.
They added that restoration projects at several other historical monuments across the province are currently underway.
Meanwhile, officials from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), which carried out the renovation, said that supporting cultural and historical preservation projects is among the agency’s core commitments.
