Al Jazeera reported that officials of the Israeli regime acknowledged during a press conference that 70,000 Palestinians have been martyred in the war on Gaza.
Previously, Israeli officials had rejected and questioned the accuracy of casualty figures released by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, repeatedly claiming that the statistics on the number of martyrs were unreliable.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Ministry of Health has stated that at least 71,662 Palestinians have been martyred as a result of the Israeli regime’s attacks on Gaza between October 7, 2023, and January 27, 2025.
