Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Russia, met with Botirjon Zakirovich Asadov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, to discuss avenues for expanding bilateral engagement.
According to the Afghan Embassy in Moscow, the two sides exchanged views on enhancing diplomatic relations, broadening economic cooperation, advancing transit initiatives, and deepening regional interaction between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Both diplomats underscored the importance of further strengthening joint cooperation.
During the meeting, it was also emphasized that the situation in Afghanistan should be assessed based on realistic conditions and a constructive perspective.
