Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, stated in an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya News Network that Pakistan must receive a response for its “shameful” incursion of Pakistani militias into Afghan territory.
On the nature of the response, Mr. Mujahid said, “Naturally, it will be a military response; however, the details remain confidential.”
He also dismissed Pakistan’s claims regarding the presence of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Afghanistan, emphasizing that the Islamic Emirate will not allow Afghan soil to be used against any party.
Mr. Mujahid further accused Pakistan of providing safe havens to ISIS instead of combating the group, asserting that these militants have been used in certain destructive attacks against Afghanistan.
