During a regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee, a proposal for the rehabilitation of damaged lands along the Amu River was approved in principle.
The Economic Deputy Office of the Prime Minister stated that under this plan, the damaged lands will be restored and later developed into agricultural and livestock farms, as well as processing factories.
The meeting also discussed a proposal to establish a commercial and residential complex in District 16 of Kabul city, along with plans to designate organized locations for car markets within the city.
