A high-level delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has arrived in China for talks with the Pakistani side.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed in a press statement that the negotiations are being held in the city of Urumqi under Chinese mediation.
The Afghan delegation is expected to deliberate on matters including the promotion of good-neighborly relations, the expansion of bilateral trade, and coordinated management of security concerns.
The Ministry emphasized that the Islamic Emirate views diplomatic engagement founded on mutual respect and non-interference as essential for the sustainable resolution of bilateral issues and the enhancement of regional stability.
