Shaikh Abdul Ghaffar Bahr, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tashkent, held a meeting with Uzbekistan’s Vice President and Director of the Central Asia International Institute, Jolan Vahhabov.
According to the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent, discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in scientific, economic, and trade fields. The two sides also explored opportunities to strengthen regional connectivity and transit.
Both parties underscored the importance of respecting Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and referenced the recent aggression on Afghan soil by Pakistan’s military authorities.
