Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, held a telephone conversation with Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which they discussed bilateral relations, facilitation measures for Afghan nationals residing in Saudi Arabia, and key regional issues.
Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi expressed appreciation for the facilitation measures introduced in the area of information processing for Afghan nationals residing in Saudi Arabia and emphasized the need to further enhance the human resource capacity of Afghanistan’s diplomatic missions.
For his part, Faisal bin Farhan underscored the importance of expanding diplomatic relations between the two countries and welcomed initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of diplomatic representations.
He also highlighted the importance of regional stability and stressed the need to resolve tensions through dialogue and diplomacy.
