Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Japan’s Ambassador to Kabul, Kenichi Masamoto.
The Foreign Minister discussed recent regional developments and the importance of expanding bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Japan.
Both sides underscored the need to further enhance cooperation, strengthen coordination, and deepen mutual engagement in humanitarian affairs, as well as to hold technical consultations.
