Mullah Hidayatullah Badri, Minister of Mines and Petroleum, held discussions with Oybek Usmanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, on expanding bilateral cooperation, strengthening trade and economic ties, and promoting investment in Afghanistan’s mineral resources.
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum said the Uzbek ambassador expressed interest from investors of his country in investing in Afghanistan’s mineral resources.
The ministry added that both sides also exchanged views on challenges related to the Tutimidan project.
