Secretariat of the High Commission for Addressing Refugee Problems<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Daily Work Report of the Committees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, 21\/5\/1446, corresponding to 3\/9\/1403, Afghan refugees returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full report is presented as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nangarhar<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Torkham (Durand Line)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 families returned to the country through Torkham and 61 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15 families with 83 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Laghman and Kabul and (73,500) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial management Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of (720,000 Afghanis) has been provided to 9 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services and Health affairs Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Omari Camp:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food: 290 meals and water have been distributed in Torkham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health: 236 returning refugees have been treated in Torkham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communications: 41 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kandahar<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 families with 80 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 family with 5 members has been safely transported to Kabul from Spin Boldak and the family has also been paid (4,000) Afghanis as rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial management Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of (134,000) Afghanis has been provided to 17 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services and Health affairs Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food: 77 meals of bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health: 75 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communications: 44 SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees by the Communications Services Authority, which also includes free minutes and internet packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nimroze<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Abrishom way<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 families with 50 members from Nimroz province have returned to the country and registered, and 802 passengers have also returned to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial management Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of (68,000 Afghanis has been provided to 8 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporary agreement Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, 147 families have been resettled in the temporary camp in Nimroz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services and Health Affairs Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communications: The officials of the Communications and Information Technology Department distributed 11 SIM cards to the migrants free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information and Public Awareness Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public awareness was provided to the migrants from the Abrishom way of Nimroze. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herat<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Islam Qala<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

22 families with 91 members returned to the country through Islam Qala and registered them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial management Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of (170,000) Afghanis have been provided to 23 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporary agreement Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today 83 families have been settled in Islam Qala Camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kabul<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Center<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 families with 39 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Samangan and Jawzjan, and (27,300) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registered refugees: (61) families and (282) individuals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transferred refugees: (26) families and (127) individuals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assisted refugees: (57) families<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporarily settled refugees: (230) families<\/p>\n\n\n\n
