His Eminence, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, may Allah safeguard him, emphasized the importance of Islamic education, societal reform, and the proper upbringing of the younger generation during a meeting with administrators and instructors of jihadi madrasas, officials responsible for the review of religious publications, administrators of orphanages, and a number of religious scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a statement released by the Arg, the meeting was also attended by the Director of the Religious Publications Review Department, the Director General of Jihadi Madrasas, and a number of other religious scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His Eminence, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, may Allah safeguard him, provided necessary guidance to the participants and stated that Allah Almighty has granted religious scholars a highly esteemed position among His creation, bestowed upon them honor and dignity, and appointed them, after the Prophets, to safeguard the religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to His Eminence: \u201cIn the past, whenever corruption emerged on earth following a Prophet, Allah Almighty would send another Prophet to eliminate that corruption. Today, however, religious scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, peace be upon them. They must strive to reform corruption and improve society. Religious scholars must implement Sharia, educate and guide people through the pulpit, and raise awareness through teaching, invitation, and counsel, while nurturing sound understanding and proper thinking among the people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His Eminence further highlighted the significance and value of knowledge, stating that the reform of society is achieved through knowledge and that the establishment of Sharia comes through the revival of Islamic sciences. He added that if Islamic sciences are not revived, the establishment of religion among the people cannot be achieved. He therefore urged greater efforts in the education, training, and intellectual and ideological development of students and pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also emphasized the need to pay close attention to both the outward and inward development of students and pupils, to keep them away from futile activities, provide them with opportunities for education and constructive engagement, cultivate in them a habit of study, explain its importance, and ensure that they acquire a sound understanding of religion and Hadith so that they may speak effectively wherever they are called upon to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the conclusion of his remarks, His Eminence stated: \u201cDo not be negligent and do not lose sight of your objective. Officials in institutions must also guard themselves against negligence. Efforts should be made to ensure that no form of negligence occurs in the political, economic, and military spheres. Protect yourselves from negligence in all areas. Today, Allah Almighty has granted you a valuable opportunity to serve the religion. In the present era, upholding Sharia requires patience and perseverance. Become a means for the guidance of the people and strive to make good use of this opportunity. Cooperate with other institutions and maintain strong mutual trust among yourselves. Religious scholars should fulfill their responsibilities in the best possible manner.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the statement, at the conclusion of the meeting, the participants and all attending religious scholars renewed their pledge of allegiance to His Eminence, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, may Allah safeguard him, and pledged to intensify their efforts toward strengthening the Islamic system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
