According to the statement, India described the attacks as \u201can act of blatant aggression,\u201d stating that they constitute a violation of Afghanistan\u2019s national sovereignty and pose a direct threat to regional peace and stability. The Ministry also expressed sympathy with the families of the victims and reaffirmed its support for Afghanistan\u2019s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) reported that civilians, including women and children, were among those martyred and injured in the airstrikes carried out by the Pakistani military regime in Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UNAMA further stated that the health condition of some of the wounded remains critical, with the possibility of further casualties. The mission also underscored the importance of upholding the principles of international humanitarian law and conveyed its condolences to the families of the victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF) expressed deep concern over the impact of the attacks on children, emphasizing that the protection of children must remain a priority under all circumstances. The organization urged all parties involved to fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, the European Union Delegation in Afghanistan condemned the attacks by the Pakistani military regime against civilians in Kunar, Paktia, and Paktika provinces, calling for the protection of civilian lives. The delegation reiterated that international humanitarian law must be respected in all circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Jan Egeland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, voiced concern over civilian casualties resulting from the attacks carried out by the Pakistani military regime in Afghanistan. In a post on his X account, he stressed that civilians and civilian infrastructure must never be targeted and called on all parties to respect and adhere to international humanitarian law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
