The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has completed 244 development projects in the Alishing and Badpash districts of Laghman province, with an estimated cost of 278 million Afghanis. These projects were officially inaugurated during a ceremony attended by the Acting Minister of the Ministry, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, and his accompanying delegation.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, his delegation, the Deputy Governor of Laghman province, Mullah Akhtar Mohammad, the Corps Commander, Qari Enzargul, the District Governor of Alishing, Mullah Noorulhadi, several other local officials, religious scholars, elders, and youth from the mentioned districts.
In his speech, the Acting Minister emphasized the importance of development projects in improving the living standards of rural communities. He stated that the Ministry is committed to implementing such projects to provide better facilities to the rural population and to address their challenges in a timely manner.
The projects include the construction and improvement of rural roads, culverts, protective walls, and irrigation canals.
During the construction work of these projects, hundreds of workers were provided with employment opportunities. Upon completion, these projects have alleviated various challenges faced by the residents of the mentioned districts.
