46 years ago today, on the 6th of Jadi 1358, the former Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan from land and air, in violation of an unconstitutional decision and all accepted international laws. This day was celebrated by the Islamic Emirate in the National Radio and Television Hall with the participation of high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to condemn the Red Army’s invasion of Afghanistan on the 6th of Jadi.
In this meeting, the 6th of Jadi was considered a black day and was considered the beginning of the defeat and disintegration of the former Soviet Union.
This day was the beginning of the pain, suffering and sorrow of the Afghan nation, and on this day the massacre of scholars, professors, students and the entire Afghan nation began.
At the meeting held on this occasion, Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi said that the occupation of Afghanistan was a big mistake for the invaders and they faced this result due to the deception of their slaves.
Mr. Muttaqi added that the great defeat of the three invaders in Afghanistan is a lesson for others.
Similarly, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi said that the defeat of the invaders in Afghanistan led to their defeat on the international level.
In a part of his speech, the Foreign Minister emphasized that Afghanistan, on the one hand, is a graveyard of empires, and on the other hand, it has benefited the region and the world by defeating the invaders.
Referring to the recent incident on the border of Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi said that a serious investigation has been launched into the incident.
Mr. Muttaqi added that he has contacted the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan and we are working together to prevent these problems.
The Foreign Minister said that some biased circles are seeking to spoil relations between Afghanistan and Tajikistan and want to make the situation appear insecure.
He added that Afghans have united during various incidents.
Mr. Muttaqi said that the recent conflict between Afghanistan and its neighboring country has united Afghans on this issue at home and abroad.
He added that Afghans have supported each other during the return of Afghan refugees from neighboring countries and natural disasters.
Minister of Information and Culture Shaikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani said that the occupiers had separated religion from politics and weakened the scholars in society.
He added that the occupiers’ anti-religious actions inspired Afghans to struggle, and as a result, the former Soviet Union faced defeat.
Similarly, Qari Mohammad Yousuf Ahmadi, the Director General of the National Radio and Television, said that nations that are associated with scholars have always remained successful and proud and have achieved victory against any kind of occupation.
He added that the victory of Afghans against the occupiers is the result of following the path of Allah Almighty and obeying the scholars.
Qari Mohammad Yousuf Ahmadi said: “No matter how powerful and armed the world is, if it invades a country like Afghanistan, it will face failure and disgrace, and it will leave this land ashamed and humiliated.”
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Shaikh Hamdullah Nomani said that the Soviet Union’s Red Army invaded Afghanistan without fully studying the history and religion of the Afghans and suffered a crushing defeat.
Mr. Nomani added that the Soviet Union wanted to reach hot water through Afghanistan, but they were defeated as a result of the Afghans’ jihad and did not achieve this goal.
Shaikh Madar Ali Karimi Bamiyani, Deputy Minister of Urban Affairs of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, said that an invasion of a nation that has a firm stance against the invaders is doomed to failure.
He added that the Afghan nation has a strong determination and will, and the invaders have faced defeat against this nation every time.
