Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, Afghanistan’s Minister of Mines and Petroleum, participated in the Industrial Forum on Oil, Gas, and Chemistry in Kazan during his official visit to Tatarstan.
In his remarks, Minister Badri highlighted Afghanistan’s significant oil and gas reserves, emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral relations, and discussed opportunities for technology transfer from Tatarstan to Afghanistan.
He also invited Tatarstan investors to contribute to the development of Afghanistan’s mineral resources.
During the visit, Minister Badri met with the President of Tatarstan and senior officials, who pledged to provide scholarships and support initiatives aimed at building the professional capacity of Afghan students.
The Afghan delegation also held talks with the leadership of Tatarstan’s state oil company (TATA), which committed to technical cooperation, dispatching specialists, and organizing training programs in Afghanistan.
