Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Afghanistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Vikram Misri, India’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the United Arab Emirates to discuss key issues and bilateral cooperation.
According to the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions focused on regional security, humanitarian aid, and bilateral relations. Both sides emphasized the potential of Chabahar Port to boost trade and agreed on its strategic importance.
Mr. Misri also pledged additional humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and expressed India’s commitment to supporting ongoing development projects.
Notably, diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and India have seen significant growth in recent months.
