A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint cooperation and the acceleration of project implementation was signed between Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of the Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), and Murad Artikov, Head of International Projects at Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Energy.
According to DABS, over the past two days, delegations from both countries held detailed meetings and reached a series of agreements on projects including electricity supply to Bala Murghab district in Badghis province, the districts of Khomab and Qarqain in Jowzjan province, increasing electricity imports to Herat province, improving quality, and advancing the 500 kV power transmission line project from Turkmenistan to Kabul.
Agreements were reached between the two sides on various other areas as well.
