Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held a joint meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion focused on the upcoming sixth meeting of the Afghanistan-China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue.
Mr. Muttaqi emphasized the importance of political and economic ties with China and Pakistan and expressed hope for continued progress in these areas.
In response, the Chinese and Pakistani foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening relations with Afghanistan based on good neighborliness and mutual respect.
The three sides also agreed to boost trade and enhance transit cooperation between the countries.
