Today, Monday, the acting head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with Ehsanullah Naeem, the Deputy Director of the International Organization for Needy People, and Hamidullah, the Communications Officer, in his office.
Welcoming the delegation, Turabi Sahb expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are pleased that organizations bring aid from foreign countries for the people and distribute it among those in need.” He thanked the entire team of the organization for their cooperation with the affected and vulnerable people of Afghanistan during difficult times.
He further emphasized the need for all organizations and institutions to increase and expedite their assistance as winter approaches.
The deputy director of the International Organization for Needy People, Ehsanullah Naeem, expressed his special gratitude to the acting head of the Authority, noting that the organization has been operating in Afghanistan for 22 years, working in the fields of agriculture, education and water canals.
This agreement includes a project worth $612,000 which will focus on Ghazni province’s Malistan and Jaghori districts, benefiting 1,594 families.
It is worth noting that these 1,594 families will receive cash to purchase heating equipment and fuel. Each family will be provided $200.
Additionally, from the 1,594 families, 797 families will receive cash for buying winter clothing where each family will be given $74.
Also, from the 1,594 families, 797 families will receive warm blankets where each family will receive five blankets worth $57.
