The regular meeting of the Economic Commission’s Technical Committee was held at the Marmarin Palace, where, in line with the agenda, discussions were held on the self-sufficiency policy for the dairy sector, the draft National Minerals Policy, and the self-sufficiency plan for vegetable oils, along with several other topics.
After comprehensive discussions, approval was granted for these topics, and they were forwarded to the Economic Commission for formal endorsement.
With the implementation of the dairy self-sufficiency policy, quality and safe dairy products required in the country will be collected, processed, and presented to the market in standardized packaging, thus fostering significant growth in this sector. Similarly, the application of the self-sufficiency plan for vegetable oils will enable the domestic production of quality and safe vegetable oils, fulfilling much of the daily market demand from local sources.
Additionally, the execution of the National Minerals Policy will enable substantial progress in the minerals sector.
