In a meeting focused on facilitating the export of Afghan commercial goods through air cargo, Ariana Afghan Airlines was directed to transport export goods at a rate of one dollar per kilogram and imported goods at 80 cents per kilogram.
The meeting also instructed the Ministries of Finance, Transport, and Civil Aviation to provide a 90 percent discount on their service fees to Ariana Afghan Airlines.
Additionally, the airline was directed to purchase a dedicated cargo aircraft as soon as possible.
The session was chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and attended by officials from relevant ministries and departments.
