Saturday, May 24, 2025, the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) launched a five-day capacity-building workshop for spokespersons and press Employees of Emirati departments.
The workshop, which will last till 28 May, was attended by 213 spokespersons and press employees from 47 Emirati departments, aims to provide professional training by the GMIC, in collaboration with professors from Kardan and Mashal universities in various fields of press.
At the outset, the director of GMIC, Mawlawi Naeeulhaq Haqqani Herati, warmly welcomed the participants and provided comprehensive information on the importance of the workshop.
He encouraged spokespersons and press employees To be actively present throughout the workshop.
The director added that the workshop has been organized due to your request and under the guidance of the leadership.
Over the course of five days, distinguished cultural personalities from the Islamic Emirate will deliver insightful speeches on policy. Additionally, professors from Kardan and Mashal universities will present valuable lectures on advancing press affairs.
Likewise, the deputy director of GMIC, Mr. Hashmatullah Naseri, outlined the structure and content of the capacity-building Workshop and urged all attendees to actively participate and utilize the content in their daily affairs.
Through this training workshop, spokespersons and press employees are expected to acquire greater skills in accelerating the process of information dissemination, Effectively reflecting achievements and activities, managing public opinion, fostering professional relationships with the media, and providing timely information.
It is worth mentioning that this five-day capacity-building workshop is conducted in two shifts each day; the morning shift for spokespersons and the afternoon shift for press employees.
