Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), held a joint meeting with Mr. Ahmed Fawad Safi, the President of Kabul National Company, in his office to discuss the development of a 40-megawatt solar power plant project.
During the meeting, Dr. Omar commended Mr. Safi’s interest in investing in Afghanistan’s electricity sector and provided detailed information about the available opportunities and facilities for electricity production in the country.
The discussion focused on the technical, financial, and logistical aspects of the proposed solar power plant, which is planned for the Tarakhil area.
Both parties explored the project’s costs, implementation timelines, and other critical considerations.
CEO Dr. Omar emphasized that Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat has created a conducive environment for investors to foster the development of domestic electricity production, highlighting the company’s commitment to facilitating energy projects that support the nation’s growth.
