Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), recently met with tribal leaders from Mohammad Agha District Logar Province to discuss the potential for expanding electricity grid and improving services in the region.
During the meeting, tribal leaders expressed their gratitude to CEO for his efforts and raised the issue of a long-standing request.
They requested DABS’ assistance in moving forward with the construction of a substation project aimed at distributing electricity to Mohammad Agha District’s industrial park and surrounding communities.
This project, which had been technically surveyed several years ago, remains a key priority for the local residents and leaders.
According to tribal leaders, Logar Industrial Park is the only one in the southern zone that has not been paid attention to yet.
CEO Dr. Omar highlighted the ongoing efforts to ensure balanced development of the country’s electricity grid, with a particular focus on areas that have been deprived of electricity due to the impacts of recent conflicts.
He emphasized that priority would be given to these underserved areas and called for the full cooperation of local communities to make the initiatives successful.
