Mawlawi Mohammad Rassol Javad, Chief Financial Officer & Acting CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, recently met with Mr. Denis Moroz, the Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy of Belarus. The discussion focused on attracting investment in Afghanistan’s electricity production sector.
During the meeting, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat officials shared detailed information on available investment opportunities, growing demand for electricity in the country, and other relevant sectors.
Mr. Denis Moroz expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat and assured them of his support in encouraging Belarusian companies to invest in electricity production, particularly in renewable energy sources, including gas.
Furthermore, Mr. Moroz extended an invitation to Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat’s leadership to visit Belarus, where they could explore the country’s electricity systems and engage with 60 investment companies.
It is also worth noting that prior to this meeting, officials from Russian, Czech, Slovakian, Turkish, and Chinese companies have also shown interest in investing in Afghanistan’s energy sector during discussions with Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat’s leadership.
