Mawlawi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, held a meeting with Taria Magnusson Waterdahl, Director General of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mawlawi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai stated that the ministry is working to provide technical and vocational education aligned with labor market needs for youth, returnees, prisoners, and individuals recovering from addiction, with the objective of reducing unemployment in the country.
He further called on the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan to expand its activities in accordance with the laws, policies, and principles of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Meanwhile, Taria Magnusson Waterdahl said that, within available capacities, the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan is seeking to accelerate its activities in coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and relevant institutions, in order to provide services to the people of Afghanistan in various fields.
