His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with local authorities and Ulamas of Qala-e-Zal district of Kunduz province.
In the beginning of the meeting, the district governor of Qala-e-Zal, Mawlavi Abdul Qadir Hamza, representing the participants, presented their activities and performance report to the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs.
He said that the Mujahideen and local authorities are ready to provide security and peace, indicating that they are serious about implementing directives of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate. He emphasized their ongoing efforts to address problems of the local populace.
Later, Mufti Abdullah addressed the gathering and asked the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to give special attention to Qala-e-Zal district’s infrastructural requirements, especially the construction of hospitals, the expansion of electricity facilities, and the repair of roads.
Following these remarks, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi reiterated the importance of local authorities fulfilling their responsibilities with dedication and taking appropriate measures to address the problems brought up by the public.
Apart from praising the performance of Kunduz’s local government, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs explained that the suggestions proposed by the Ulamas would be duely considered in accordance to the available resources of the Islamic Emirate.
